Today´s outfit
Today I was wearing my favorite top from “The Baand” (or at least one of them..) It is from our new SS´12 collection and is called “open rib knitted sweater”. I am wearing the top in the color: light beige, but can inform you that it is also coming in off-white and black. Personally I think this top is a very unique piece which captures the current trends SO nicely. Under the knitted sweater, I am wearing a printed tank top from the Danish brand “Fleur Tang” – this top is also organic by the way! My jeans are from “Lee” and my belt is from “Paul and Joe”. The necklace is antique and is inherited from my grandmother.
photographing for SS´12 packshots
Yesterday was the big day for photographing “The Baand” packshots. This is something many people has requested from us in a long time, and finally we took action and had it done. It feels very nice now that it is done 
100 pcs of summer´12 styles was photographed one by one very systematically.
Stine is posing together with our model.
Stine and Soren, our photographer and graphic designer, is working on a solution of how to attach another arm (which is not pointing up into the air) to our model. The only problem is that this new arm is very tanned compared to the rest of our model.. hmm what to do..?
While Soren is fixing the problem (with the arm) Stine is playing with the house cat, Christopher. A 6 month old cat, who is following our work very closely the whole day.
It is hard not to fall in love with Christopher and his curious personality.
All the while the pictures are slowly being taken, Soren also works on the graphics of our packshots. And it is very funny to see how they slowly take form.
Here is the result! This yellow a-shaped t-shirt with print is an example of one of the finished SS´12 packshots. We like the result VERY much Thank you Soren Meisterbrau!

The other day Stine and I were so lucky to get a signed cd from our new friend, singer and blogger, Anine Bing. An amazing album that we can highly recommend!!

We are very happy that Anine likes the clothes from “The Baand” and that she often wears it on her blog. We especially like the way she styles her outfits – it is always so inspiring and cool! On the photo above beautifull Anine is wearing one of our tank tops in dusty aubergine mixed with a vintage looking denim shirt, slim fit jeans and cool boots. We like a lot!!
Today´s outfit
Today I was wearing one of the new “The Baand” t-shirts with print in a really nice color, called “Ashes of roses”. The jacket is from a brand called “EdaMae”. I don´t know this brand, but I really like the jacket and I found it for only 50 kr last weekend in a flea market on Østerbro. The grey trousers is from “Superfine” and my ring and necklace is from “Rååsmykker”.
The Baand / Suite-Illum event
Yesterday the luxurious multi brand store “Suite” in Copenhagen’s department store “Illum” and us, “The baand” held a nice and relaxing morning event for a small group of special invited people. It was 2 cosy hours, with great brunch and good conversations – a very successful event, which is definitely not our last.

“Spisebaren´s” brunch is really great and I love that it is so nontraditional. In the picture you see from the left: Maria Louise from the blog “Styleintuition” and Emilie and Emelie, both fashion editors at the Danish fashion magazine “COVER“.
In the centre of the photo you see: Selcuk Kaya, one of the 2 owners behind the nice and luxurious store “suite”, next to him at the right: Tess Lauritsen, the talented visual merchandiser who shined up “Suite” for this special event.

Testing a new kind of sales material
Today I picked up the sales cards at the printers house.. (the “play cards” I wrote about in an earlier post here on the blog): http://thebaand.wordpress.com/2012/01/31/working-late/
I think the result has become really nice.. Now it is just exciting to know if they will also work in practice..
The perfect summer knit..
4 days to go and these fantastic beauties will arrive from Peru.. Not only in black but also in 2 other colors.. (off-white and brown melange) They are from our new summer´12 collection and is manuel machine knitted in 100% silky soft pima cotton. Mmmm I look SO much forward to wear them. I am sure they can be styled both casual for everyday use and be dressed up for going out for drinks in the evening
Out and about..
In December, my friend, Sidsel, decided to go to Vietnam, where she is now traveling around for 6 month.. Doing her trip she takes the most fantastic pictures of different landscapes and places where she visits, which she is so kind to share on her Facebook page.
What I think is very funny when looking at her pictures, is that she is often wearing something from “The Baand” – that is SOO nice to see!
From my own experience I can only agree with Sidsel – “The Baand” works really well when traveling – it is very light weight (which is good because then you can bring more) and it works especially good for warm weather because the quality of the fabric is thin and easy to breathe in.
To you Sidsel: Thanks for the great photos – I enjoy! And thank you for taking “Loopy”, “Stiffy”, “Drummer boy” and “Johnny – the bass player” with you on your trip around Vietnam – I am sure they enjoy the adventure just as much as you do!
working late..
working working working on the new and more expanded sales material for the AW´12 collection.. Not only have we made the normal lookbook this season, but we are also testing a new and much more specific way of showing all our styles in the coming AW´12 collection.. a kind of “play with cards” you can say..
The first ones who gets to test it, is our Danish agent, Asui agency.., and if all works well, we will pass it on to our German, Dutch and Japanese agents as well.. Very exciting!!
